CONDITIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE POSITION OF AMBASSADOR OF THE CZECH NOBLE SPIRITS COMPETITION (CNSC)

POSITION OF THE ROLE

The Ambassador of the Czech Noble Spirits Competition (CNSC) is an honorary and representative position, similar in nature to that of an honorary consul – representing the competition in a specific country or region and supporting its development and prestige.

DEFINITION AND SCOPE

  • The Ambassador is always appointed for a specific geographical area (e.g., the country of India, the Balkan region, or a province within a larger country).

  • The position is unpaid, with no entitlement to financial compensation.

  • The role is not limited by time but may be terminated at any moment upon mutual agreement of both parties.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CANDIDATE

  • High social standing and reputation within the given locality.

  • A successful professional career (in business, gastronomy, beverage production, sommelier practice, marketing, diplomacy, etc.).

  • A positive attitude toward spirits, liqueurs, and the cultural heritage associated with their production and consumption.

  • The ability to communicate and engage with entrepreneurs, producers, traders, and the general public.

  • Active connections within the HORECA, food industry, or cultural sector.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the brand at a high professional level.

TASKS OF THE AMBASSADOR

  • Represent CNSC publicly within the assigned territory.

  • Actively seek out and approach producers of spirits and liqueurs to ensure the highest possible number of participants and competition samples.

  • Help build awareness of CNSC among both professional and general audiences.

  • Establish strategic partnerships with institutions, associations, and organizations within the industry.

  • Participate in major gastronomic, cultural, and trade events where the competition can be presented.

  • Continuously provide feedback on the local market situation and trends in the field of spirits.

COOPERATION AND NETWORK OF AMBASSADORS

  • CNSC Ambassadors form an international network that communicates regularly.

  • They share experiences, tips, new contacts, and business opportunities.

  • They mutually support each other in attracting participants from cross-border regions.

  • They may collaborate on accompanying projects, such as tastings, presentations, and cultural programs.

OTHER

  • Symbolic status – the ambassador may use the title “CNSC Ambassador for [location]” and appear under this designation in public engagements.

  • Identification elements – may use the official CNSC logo on business cards, email signatures, and presentations (in accordance with the graphic manual).

  • Benefits – priority access to all CNSC events, invitations to gala evenings, and the possibility to invite personal guests from the field.

  • Obligations – the ambassador must maintain the good reputation of the competition, avoid conflicts of interest, and promote only quality and legally produced spirits.
